Library Home Page URL (Optional)

Enter the full URL for the link to the library home page that you want to use.
(For example, enter “http://www.northbranch.lib”.)
This link displays on Information Portal under the Home tab.
Note: If you include both a home page URL and a logo, both the logo and the home page link text will become hyperlinks to your home page. If you leave this field blank, there will be no link to your home page.

Enter the text to display on the link to your custom home page.
(For example, enter “North Branch Home Page”.)

Library Logo URL (Optional)

Do one of these options:

If your logo is stored in the Information Portal images directory on your Application Server, enter this URL and path: |

If your logo is stored somewhere else, enter the URL to the machine where your logo is, followed by the path to the logo file. |
For example, enter this URL and path:

Note: Custom logos must be an image type supported by your browser, such as a .gif or .jpeg file. A logo size in the range of 175 x 45 pixels displays well. If you chose not to include a home page URL, this logo will not become a hyperlink.

Location

Enter the location whose holdings you want to display first when a search is performed in Information Portal under this profile.
(For example, if you always want the holdings at the Main branch to display first, choose “Main”.)

Language
|
Enter the language that you want to be used in displaying results in this profile.
Multiple languages will be available in a future version of Information Portal.

Locale
|
Choose the region or nationality that you want to apply to any currency displays in this profile.
(For example, if you want your currency displayed in Mexican pesos with the correct symbol, choose “Spanish (Mexico)”.)
The locale code conforms to ISO 4217 and contains standard formatting information for the symbol, the negative currency display, and the decimal placement for each country’s monetary standards.
