Determining When Borrowers Are Due to Receive Items

To find out when borrowers are due to receive items, you can review the Visit due report. The Visit due report shows the name of each Home Service borrower, the date for the next visit, the reading profile, route, and stop number. All of this information comes from the borrower record. If you want, you can print the Visit due report to use as a reference for planning visits.

For borrowers who receive items by delivery, the word “visit” refers to the time when items are delivered to the borrower. For borrowers who receive items by mail, the word “visit” refers to the time when items are mailed to the borrower.

To determine when borrowers are due to receive items

1 Start the Display Home Service Visits Due process.

The default location of this process is the Home Service folder on the navigation bar.

Horizon opens the List Home Service Visit Due Report window:

Note: If the Next visit column is blank, no items have been checked out to the borrower yet. However, you can manually specify a next visit date by completing the Next Visit field on the borrower record. (For more information, see Editing a Borrower Record.)

2 If you want to, sort the report.
3 If you want to, print the report.
