Extended Statistics

Horizon can also keep additional statistics on borrowers as they check out materials. These statistics can then be consumed and utilized by BiblioGQL for reporting purposes. These additional borrower statistics include the following:

Age
Borrower statistics (BSTAT information)
ZIP code
City code
Locations at which borrowers check out materials

Extended Statistics functionality is feature activated. With Horizon 7.5.3, you will be able to set Extended Statistics parameters and borrower codes; however, unless the functionality is activated, no additional statistics will be saved by the software. If you want to activate the Extended Statistics functionality at your library, please contact SirsiDynix Customer Support.

After Customer Support has activated the feature, the additional statistics are extracted and compiled as part of Day End processing. At this point, BiblioGQL can consume the additional statistics for reporting.
