Gathering Information for a Questions and Answers Workform

There are several ways to collect questions for your Questions and Answers file. Here are some ways that you can use to collect questions:

Set up a Questions box in a central location. Include paper and pencil for borrowers to use in writing down and submitting their questions.
Write down questions that borrowers ask for later entry in a Questions and Answers record.
Pull questions from e-mail requests that your library receives.

The default Questions and Answers workform contains the tags and subfields defined for a Questions and Answers record (question, response, who responded, and comment). This helps you to know what information to collect. However, you can customize the tags and subfields to include even more information.
