Viewing a Borrower’s Hold Requests

You can view a list of all requests made by a single borrower from the Borrower Request List window. If Family Group is enabled in the system and the borrower is a member of a group, you can also view holds for those borrowers who have given the user permissions to manage their holds.

You can also delete a borrower’s requests from this window.

To view a borrower’s hold requests

1 In the Checkout window, identify the borrower whose requests you want to view.
2 Choose Borrower, Requests.

Horizon displays the Borrower Request List window listing the requests made by the borrower:

3 If you want to sort the requests, click Sort.
a Select how you want to sort the requests: by processed (title), queue, pickup location, status, request expiration date, hold expiration date, or borrower name (when viewing family group holds).
b Select whether to sort in ascending or descending order.
4 If you want to see the hold requests of the members of the borrower's group, choose Group Requests.

Note: Group Requests is available only when Family Groups is enabled in the system and the borrower has privileges to manage the holds of at least one other group member.

5 If you want to see a list of other borrowers who have requested this item, click Item Queue.

You can reorder the hold queue from this window. (For instructions, see Reordering the Hold Request Queue.)
