If your library has had the Extended Statistics feature installed by SirsiDynix Customer Support, you can configure which additional statistics your library wants to keep, and how often Horizon should extract and compile them for use by the BiblioGQL software.
The Extended Statistics functionality is feature activated. For more information on this feature activation, see Extended Statistics.
To set up extended statistics
1 | Open the stat_extension_param (Extended statistics configuration) view in the Table Editor. |
2 | Choose the configuration that you want to change, or create a new configuration. |
Horizon displays the Edit Extended Statistics Configuration window.
3 | Complete these fields: |
Field |
Value |
|||||||||||||||
Starting Month of the Year |
Specifies the month in which Horizon should begin keeping extended statistics. This field accepts a numeric value corresponding to the month of the year (for example, type "1" for January or "9" for September). |
|||||||||||||||
Subdivisions |
Specifies whether statistics should be extracted yearly or monthly. Choose None if you only want one extraction for the entire year; choose Monthly to divide up statistics by month. |
|||||||||||||||
Kept for |
Indicates how long Horizon should keep monthly statistics (in years). The maximum value permitted in this field is 3. Note: If you chose the None option for the Subdivision parameter, this parameter has no effect. |
|||||||||||||||
Compiled after |
Specifies how long Horizon should gather statistics before compiling the statistics report. |
|||||||||||||||
Stats by age |
Specifies whether Horizon should split borrower categories by age.
|
|||||||||||||||
Stats by Bcodes? |
Specifies whether Horizon should include the borrower code in the statistics. |
|||||||||||||||
Stats by zipcode |
Specifies whether Horizon should include ZIP code information in the statistics.
Note: If you use an option that extracts a ZIP code from an address line, the ZIP code must be at the beginning of the address line for the extraction to work properly. Horizon extracts the first six characters from address lines. |
|||||||||||||||
Stats by city code? |
Specifies whether Horizon should categorize statistics by city code. |
|||||||||||||||
Save CKO locations? |
Specifies whether Horizon should save statistics on which locations borrowers check out materials. |
4 | Save your changes. |
