You activate issue slips by editing the location record. You can activate issue slips for standard Home Service borrowers, institution borrowers, or both.
You can activate issue slips at any time, such as when you set up Home Service for the first time or after you become familiar with the Home Service process.
If you activate issue slips, you typically print issue slips for a group of Home Service borrowers all at once using the Print Slips option in Circulation Reports. These issue slips are printed in a default format. This format is the same for both standard and institution borrowers.
However, if you use circulation slip printers, you can also print issue slips for individual borrowers. To do this, you must manually define a format for the issue slips to be printed for individual borrowers.
