When you edit or create Tag856 MARC maps used for linkable tag displays, you specify the MARC tag and subfields from which Horizon extracts information to display and the order in which Horizon displays them. The order in which you enter the MARC tags determines the order and preference in which that MARC tag information is displayed in the window.
To edit linkable tag display options
1 | Open the marc_map (MARC Map Edit) view in the Table Editor. (For instructions on opening views, see “Horizon Table Editor” in the “Getting Started” chapter of the Horizon System Administration Guide.) |
Horizon displays the List MARC Map window.
If you are editing a MARC map, make sure you choose one that is not used for indexing. If you have questions, call Horizon Customer Support.
If you add a new MARC map to Horizon, you must rebuild the Information Portal keyword index before Information Portal can use this MARC map. (For more information, see “Setting Up a Keyword Index for Horizon Information Portal” in the “Indexing” chapter of the Horizon System Administration Guide.)
2 | Double-click on the MARC map you want to edit. (For example, double-click on the Tag856 MARC map.) |
Horizon displays the Edit MARC Map window:
3 | Choose one of these options at the Run-on field: |
• | Do Not Run-on. Choose this option if you want to display 856 tag information as one line per tag in Information Portal. |
• | Do Run-on. Choose this option if you want to display 856 tag information on a single line in Information Portal. |
4 | Click Page Down until Horizon displays the Extraction group: |
5 | Modify the information in the HTML format (Info Portal only) field to customize your hyperlink options: |
