If you want, you can store the borrower ratings in the borrower log. That way, you can review the ratings whenever you want to know which items a borrower liked. (For example, you may want to review a borrower’s ratings when deciding what items to gather for the next visit.) (For more information, see Reviewing the Borrower Log.)
To store ratings in the borrower log, you need to activate the rating prompt. As a result, Horizon will display a prompt when you check in an item, and you can enter the rating the borrower provided. You can also enter “0” (zero) to indicate a rating was not provided. You can activate the rating prompt at any time, such as when you set up Home Service for the first time or after you become familiar with the Home Service process.
The rating prompt does not apply to institution borrowers. That is because institution borrowers are not included in the borrower log, which is where ratings are stored.
You also need to define how you are going to interpret the rating scale.
