Changing Borrower Types for My List

You can manage your Information Portal My List feature through the borrower types that you set up. You can change the number of lists that a specific type of user can store, the maximum number of bibliographic records that can be added to each of these lists, and set the duration (or the lifespan) of the stored lists within a specific borrower type for the My List feature. (For example, you may want to set the maximum number of lists that children can have at 1 or 2 to prevent excessive storage problems on your system. You may also let your staff, through their borrower type settings, to have an unlimited number of lists stored.) You may want to do this to maximize your system resources and provide your staff with another tool to help library users.

All of the My List borrower types that have been imported into your Information Portal Library from the Horizon database are set to the default unless you change these values.
