Setting Up Call Number Prefixes for Closed Stack Access

The CSA Call No. Prefixes configuration allows you to configure the prefixes Horizon can use to generate call numbers for closed stack access, whether or not the number should include a separator, and which number Horizon should start with to construct the numbers.

CSA call number prefix functionality is feature-activated; if you want to use the CSA Call Number Prefixes feature on your library system, contact SirsiDynix Customer Support.

The fields that support CSA call number prefix functionality do not display in the item record by default, even after the feature has been activated. For information on how to add the fields to the item record, see Adding Call Number Prefix for Closed Stack Access Fields to the Item Record Fields.
