Reviewing a Borrower’s Profile

A borrower’s profile describes the borrower’s reading preferences, such as favorite topics, authors, and format of items. It may also specify the number of items the borrower should receive at each visit. The profile information is stored in the Reader’s Profile field on the borrower record. You can review a borrower’s profile to determine the types of items that are appropriate for the borrower.

The easiest way to review a borrower’s profile is to access the Visit Due report. That is because you can review the profile information for all Home Service borrowers at once.

You can also review the profile for an individual borrower by accessing the borrower record. You can access the borrower record using a process in the Home Service folder or Checkout.
