If you want to change the way your users view Information Portal, you make changes that affect individual pieces of information. These pieces of information make up the profile (searching environment) of Information Portal. They include such things as the text and images users see on various screens, the color of tabs and sub-tabs, the sort and limit options that affect searches, and the available indexes. When you make changes to any of these pieces, you must link these changes to the profile that a user accesses before your users can see them.
