Tips for Connecting 3M SelfCheck to a Server

If you use the 3M SelfCheck server as a workstation, do not turn off or reboot it. This will break the telnet connection between the 3M SelfCheck machine and the server. If the telnet connection breaks, you must reboot the 3M SelfCheck machine.
You must place the 3M SelfCheck server behind a firewall for security.
If you choose to run other Horizon client software on your 3M SelfCheck server, each 3M SelfCheck machine attached to that server must use the same location parameter as the Horizon software on that server.
