Sorting the Contents of a Grid

You can sort the contents of a grid by any of the columns displayed in the window. (For example, in the Closed Stack Request List, you can sort requests by the Request Date column.)

To sort the contents of a grid

1 Start a Closed Stack Access process.

Horizon displays the grid for the process you chose.

2 Do one of these options:

To sort this way

Do this

Using one column

Double-click the column heading you want to sort by. (For example, in the Closed Stack Request List, double-click Request Date.)

Using multiple columns

1 Double-click the column heading you want to use as the primary sort column.
2 Hold down the CTRL key and double-click the column heading you want to use as the secondary sort column.

Horizon displays an arrow in the column heading to indicate which column it used to sort the information. (If you are sorting using multiple columns, Horizon displays numbers in the column headings to indicate the order in which information is being sorted.)

Here is an example of requests being sorted in the Closed Stack Request List grid:

Note: The sort remains in effect only while the grid is open. Once you close the grid, Horizon reverts to the default sort order.
