When you create a bib record for your Clubs and Organizations or Events Calendar file, you can include a date on which you want to update or delete the information in the record. By performing a Date Take Action Browse or Purge Date Browse search, you can produce a list of organization or event information that you can use to make decisions about what should be updated or deleted.
The “Other Tasks” chapter explains how to perform the Date Take Action Browse and Purge Date Browse searches, print the information you find, and send the records to Cataloging to update or delete.
