Deleting an External Link from a Library

If necessary, you can delete an existing external link from an Information Portal Library. If you delete an existing external link for a Library, Information Portal automatically deletes the link from any library profiles to which the link has been added.

To delete an external link from a Library

1 Open your Information Portal Administration tool web site.
2 Click the Setup tab.
3 Click the Libraries sub-tab.
4 Click the External Links option.

The Administration tool displays the external links that have been added to this Library.

5 Click Delete next to the external link that you want to delete.

Your browser displays a message asking you if you want to delete the external link.

6 Click OK.

The Administration tool deletes the external link and then displays the list of links that have been added to this Library.

7 Repeat steps 5 and 6 for any additional external links that you want to delete from this Information Portal Library.
8 Click Done.
9 When you finish making changes in Information Portal, restart the Application Server process (JBoss).
