You may want to include these privileges, or exceptions to them, in your Media Scheduling setup:
Repeat this task to set up exceptions for each of these privileges separately.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have set up these things:
• | Locations and location groups for each location that will use Media Scheduling. |
• | Media Scheduling ITYPEs and ITYPE groups. |
• | If necessary, BTYPEs and BTYPE groups that can use Media Scheduling. |
If you change information in an existing location group’s circulation privileges, you affect the circulation privileges for the entire location group, not just the media scheduling location. You must either create a new location group for Media Scheduling or add exceptions.
To set up media circulation privileges
1 | Open the circ_privilege_code view in the Table Editor. |
Horizon opens the List Circulation Privileges window.
2 | Choose an existing circulation privilege for which to set up media scheduling exceptions, or create a new circulation privilege. |
Horizon displays the Edit Circulation Privileges window:
3 | Verify that the button in front of the first privilege for which you want to set up media scheduling exceptions is marked. |
4 | Display these fields: |
5 | Enter or update these fields, as necessary: |
6 | Save your changes. |
7 | Repeat steps 2 through 6 to set up all the necessary privileges for each borrower and ITYPE at this location. |
