Changing Your Library’s Summary Display

You can control certain elements of the Summary page. (For example, you can control the maximum number of items that will display.)

To change your Library’s summary display

1 Access the Library Information page.
2 Scroll down to the Summary Display Information section:

3 Complete or update these fields:

Maximum Items

Enter the maximum number of items that you want to display on the Item View of Summary Display page.

Note: If you enter “0” (zero) or leave this field blank, items will not be displayed on the Summary Results page.

Display Precedence

Choose one of these options for the type of items that you want to display first on the Item View of Summary Display page:

None. Information Portal displays the items in the order that it receives them from Horizon, without regard to their individual status.
Location. Information Portal first displays those items that are at the location being searched, then displays items from other locations.
Status is in. Information Portal first displays those items that are currently available.

Default Sort

If you want to choose a default sort order that will be used for every search, choose a default sort order.

4 Click OK.

The Administration tool saves your changes for this Library.

5 When you finish making changes in Information Portal, restart the Application Server process (JBoss).
