If you want to, you can change the sort options that are available to a user on the Advanced and Power Search pages. You can change both the name of the sort and the order in which they are displayed on the Search pages. If you want to, you can choose to use all of the available sorts in each of the profiles within your Library.
You can also create new sort options in Horizon and import them into Information Portal. You create these new sort options in the word_index view in Horizon. (For more information, see “Creating the Index Definition” in the “Setting Up a Keyword Index for Horizon Information Portal” section in the “Indexing” chapter of the Horizon System Administration Guide.)
To change the user sort options
1 | Access the profile you want to change, or add a new one. |
2 | Click Sorts. |
The Administration tool displays the Sorts page with all of the available sorts listed:
The sorts that currently display on the Advanced and Power Search pages of the user interface are marked. From this page you can add more sort options to those currently displayed by choosing more from the list or by importing new ones from Horizon.
