If you want to create a special email setting for a specific location, you can override the default email settings that you created in the email_param view.
To override the default email settings
1 | Open the location view in the Table Editor. |
Horizon opens a List Location Parameters window.
2 | Choose the location whose email settings you want to customize. |
Horizon opens an Edit Location Parameters window.
3 | In the Name field, make sure the location name displays. |
4 | Display the email fields: |
5 | Use the drop-down list to choose the address whose default email address you want to override. |
6 | Complete or update these fields: |

Mark Return. Important: You can mark this field for only one address for each location. Otherwise, Horizon does not know which address to use for return mail. |

Enter the email address you want to use as the location’s “from” address. |

Enter the email address where you want to receive this location’s email replies. |

If you always want to send a blind copy of the email messages that this location sends, enter the address that should receive the copy. |

Enter the subject line you want to use for any email sent from this location. |
7 | Save your changes. |
8 | If you want to change the default email message, do these steps: |
a | Open the block view in the Table Editor. |
b | Choose the block whose message you want to change, or click New to create a new one. |
Horizon displays the Edit Block Types window.
c | Display the Notice Language group. |
d | If you want to use the new message in addition to the one you entered in the Default Email Language field, mark Append. |
Click New to add multiple messages.
e | In the Email Notice Language field, enter the message you want to append to, or use instead of, the default email message. |
Click New to add multiple messages.
f | Save your changes. |
