If necessary, you can manually delete a closed stack request. (For example, if a borrower informs you that they will not be picking up the item, you can delete their request.) You do not have to delete requests manually. Every night at midnight, Horizon processes all closed stack requests that have a status other than “Active.” If your system administrator has set up the closed stack history file, the requests are moved to the history file. If the closed stack history file has not been set up, the requests are deleted.
You can delete a single request, or multiple requests at the same time.
Borrowers cannot delete their own requests.
To delete a closed stack request
1 | Access the Closed Stack Request List. |
2 | Highlight the requests that you want to delete. |
3 | Choose File, Delete Record. |
Horizon asks you to confirm the deletion.
4 | Click Yes. |
Horizon deletes the requests.
