You can use the Information Portal Administration tool to easily update Information Portal to the latest version. (You can also activate any add-on products that you have purchased or update the add-on products to the latest version. For more information, see Activating an Add-on Product.)
This updating option is not available for all Information Portal releases. For complete instructions on updating Information Portal to the latest version, see the corresponding version of the Application Suite Release Notes or the Application Suite Installation and Upgrade Directory.
To update Information Portal
1 | Open your Information Portal Administration tool web site. |
2 | Click the Add On tab. |
3 | Click Available Updates. |
The Administration tool displays a list of available updates and add-on products.
4 | Choose the Information Portal update that you want from the list. |
The Administration tool displays the Get Update Library ID page.
5 | Enter your SirsiDynix ID. |
6 | Click OK. |
Your Application Server shuts down and reboots.
