You can print two types of issue slips:
• | Driver Slip |
• | Borrower Slip |
A driver slip contains information that relates to distributing the items to the borrower, such as the borrower’s address and the number of items to deliver or mail.
If a borrower’s items should be delivered, you can give the driver slip to the delivery person. If a borrower’s items should be mailed, you can use the driver slip to know the borrower’s mailing address.

A borrower slip contains information that is useful for the borrower, such as the number of items being delivered or mailed and the title of each item.
The default borrower slip also provides a space where the borrower can write a rating for each item he or she reads. If you activate the rating prompt, you can store the rating in the borrower log when you check in the item. (For more information, see Activating the Rating Prompt.)
The default borrower slip includes the rating space whether or not you activate the rating prompt. However, if you define a format for individual issue slips, you can decide whether a rating space is included. (For more information, see Ratings.)
If a borrower’s items should be delivered, you can give the borrower slip to the delivery person to give to the borrower. If a borrower’s items should be mailed, you can mail the borrower slip along with the items.
