If you want to, you can change the text and hover-text on any tab in your Information Portal tabset.
To change the text on a tab
1 | Access the tabset on which you want to change a tab’s text. (For instructions, see Adding or Changing a Tabset.) |
The Administration tool displays the Edit Tabset page.
2 | On the displayed tabset, click the tab on which you want to change the text. |
The Administration tool displays the Update Tab page.
3 | In the Name field, enter the new name (or text) for the tab. |
Note: If you want to wrap the tab’s text to the next line in the tab, enter a semicolon ( ; ) at the point at which you want to break the line. However, if you wrap the text for one tab in a tabset, you may want to wrap them all. This is because a tab with wrapped text is taller than a tab with unwrapped text.
4 | In the Hover-Text field, enter a new hover-text description, if you want to change this name too. |
This is the name that you want displayed in the ToolTip box when the mouse hovers over the tab name.
5 | Click OK. |
6 | If you added a new tabset, assign the tabset to the library profile for which you want to use it. (For instructions, see Changing the Tabset Assigned to a Profile.) |
7 | When you finish making changes in Information Portal, restart the Application Server process (JBoss). |
