Identifying Locations that Can Recall Items
You can specify the locations that can recall items.
For example, you may want only the reserve location to be able to recall items. If your library consists of a central library with many branches, you may want to let all the branches recall items.
To identify locations that can recall items

Set up recalls allowed (parameter 31). |

In the Value field, do one of these options: |

If you want to allow recalls from all locations, enter “1”. |
|
•
|
If you do not want to allow recalls from any location, enter “0” (zero). |
|

If you want to create or edit any exceptions, do these steps in the Special Values group: |

Choose the exception that you want to change, or create a new exception. |

Enter or choose a code in one or more of the location or item type group fields. |
|

In the Value field, do one of these options: |

If you want to allow recalls for the group, enter “1”. |
|
•
|
If you do not want to allow recalls for the group, enter “0” (zero). |
Note: The exception value set here overrides the default value for this parameter.
