The borrower codes functionality directly supports the Extended Statistics functionality; the Extended Statistics functionality is feature activated. For more information on this feature activation, see Extended Statistics.
Borrower codes (bcodes) allow you to generate statistics for groups of borrowers who use your library. Borrower codes correspond directly to borrower statistical classes (BSTATs) for the purpose of collecting extended statistics for use by the BiblioGQL software.
To set up borrower codes
1 | Open the bcode (Borrower Codes) view in the Table Editor. |
2 | Choose the configuration that you want to change, or create a new configuration. |
Horizon displays the Edit Borrower Codes window.

Enter an alphabetical or alpha-numeric code to identify a borrower code at your library. This code can contain up to seven characters. Important: Your Bcodes must have the same value as the BSTAT code to which it corresponds. |

This display-only field shows the number of borrowers currently assigned to the Bcode. |
