If you want to, you can let users send requests for information and resources (such as books, multi-media items, and so forth) to the resource desk using email. Once the resource desk receives these requests, staff members can decide if they need to place these items on hold, send the items to the specified individual, or do something else necessary to process the request. The Resource Request feature lets users send only Brief Bib summaries, as well as the information that your library requires them to send to the resource desk (for example, name, phone number, and address).
