Creating a Header in S41 Format

A header in S41 format consists of:

An action code that indicates whether you are adding, deleting, and so forth. The action code must be added at the beginning of the line. (For a list of action codes, see Specifying an Action Code on page 1-12.)
Columns from borrower tables you want to import separated by delimiters or fixed field width specifications.
The row number of each column you are importing.

Example 1-1: A header in single line format:

When a data file is created using this format, it should look like this:

A-O’Shea, Katie; 379-81-1583 student
