Creating or Editing a Route Record

You create a route record for each route. You can also edit a route record as necessary. (For example, you can change the route description, or assign the route to a different advisor.)

To create or edit a route record

1 Start the Update Home Service Routes process.

The default location of this process is the Home Service folder on the navigation bar.

Horizon opens the List Home Service Routes window.

2 Do one of these options:
If you want to create a route record, click New.
If you want to edit an existing route record, double-click the route you want to edit.

Horizon displays the Edit Home Service Routes window:

3 Complete or update these fields:

Route Code

Enter a short code or abbreviation for the route (for example, “sp” for South Provo).

Description

Enter a description of the route (for example, “South Provo”).

Advisor

Enter or choose the code for the advisor you want to assign to the route.

To add or edit an advisor code, click Codes. Then click Add or Edit in the Code Lookup window.

Next Stop

This is a display-only code that shows the stop number that will be assigned to the next borrower who is assigned to this route.

4 Save your changes.
