When you add root search categories, the Administration tool adds the root search categories to the list in the order in which you add them. If you want to, you can reorder the root search categories in a group.
You must have two or more root categories listed to perform this task.
To change the order of root search categories in a group
1 | Access the search category group with the root search categories that you want to reorder. (For instructions, see Adding or Changing a Search Category Group.) |
The Administration tool displays the Edit Group page:
2 | Click Reorder Roots. |
The Administration tool displays the Reorder Root Categories page:
3 | In the list of root search category names, click the name of the root search category that you want to move in the list. |
4 | Do one of these options: |
• | If you want to move a root search category to the beginning of the list, click the up arrow as many times as necessary to move the root search category to the position you want. |
• | If you want to move a root search category to the end of the list, click the down arrow as many times as necessary to move the root search category to the position you want. |
5 | Click OK. |
The Administration tool displays the Update Group page again with the root search categories in the new order.
6 | When you finish making changes in Information Portal, restart the Application Server process (JBoss). |
