When a borrower makes a closed stack request, Horizon automatically assigns the request the “Active” status. A request keeps this status until the request is automatically filled, manually filled, or marked as missing. If you want to, you can change the status of a request manually. (For example, if items are automatically considered filled, and you cannot find the item in the closed stacks, you will need to change the status of the request to “Not Found.”)
These statuses are used for closed stack requests:
• | Active. Horizon assigns this status to a request when a borrower places the request. |
• | Auto Fill. Horizon assigns this status to a request when the auto fill minutes have elapsed (if your system administrator has set up requests to be filled automatically). (For more information on filling requests automatically, see Filling a Closed Stack Request Automatically.) |
• | Complete. Horizon assigns this status to a request when a closed stack item is checked in using In-house checkin mode. |
• | Manual Fill. Horizon assigns this status to a request when a staff member manually fills the request. |
• | Not Found. When a requested item cannot be found, a staff member manually marks the item as missing and Horizon assigns this status to the request. |
