Changing How Your Library’s Name Displays within the Administration Tool

You can change the name of your Information Portal Library. (For example, if the name of your Library is “Maple County Library,” you can change this name to a more descriptive one, such as “Maple County Middle School Library.”)

This task lets you change how your Library’s name displays in the Administration tool. If you want change your Library’s name for searching pages, see Changing How Your Library’s Name Displays on Searching Pages.

To change how your Library’s name displays within the Administration tool

1 Access the Library Information page.

The Administration tool displays the Library Information page:

2 Highlight the text in the Library Name field and enter the new name for the Library.
3 If you have finished making changes on this page, scroll down and click OK; otherwise, continue with the task Changing Your Library’s Horizon Connection Settings.
4 When you finish making changes in Information Portal, restart the Application Server process (JBoss).
