Printing Issue Slips for an Individual Borrower

If you use circulation slip printers, and if you manually defined a format for issue slips, you can print the issue slips for an individual borrower in Checkout. Horizon prints the driver slip, borrower slip, or both, depending on which slips you have manually defined. (For more information, see Manually Defining a Format for Issue Slips.)

If the Home Service borrower is a member of a family group, you can only print a Home Service slip for that borrower from the All Items Out list. You can print standard checkout slips for each member of the group from the All Group Items Out list.

To print issue slips for an individual borrower

1 While at the Checkout window, choose File, Multi-Item Slip to check if the Multi-Item Slip option is available.
2 If the Multi-Item Slip option is available, continue to Step 3. If the option is not available, do the following:
a Click on Tools, Change Receipt Options.

Horizon displays the Workstation Receipt Options window.

b Mark Allow Printing of Slips and Receipts.
c Click OK.

Multi-Item Slip is now available from the File menu.

3 If you have not already done so, check out items to an individual borrower. (For instructions, see Checking Out Items to Borrowers.)
4 While at the Checkout window, choose File, Multi-Item Slip (or press CTRL + F11).

Horizon prints the issue slips.

5 Set aside the issue slips so they can be used during distribution. (For more information, see Distributing Items to Borrowers.)
