Starting an XSL Processor (Windows 2003)
The XSL processor interprets, or processes, XML data and ensures that Application Server displays HTML data properly. You need to start every XSL processor you have installed for your library system.
To start an XSL processor as a console application

Do one of these options on the Application Server or the server where you installed the XSL processor: |

If you chose to put shortcuts on the desktop when you installed the the XSL processor, double-click the XSL processor icon on your desktop. |
|

Choose Start, Programs, SirsiDynix, XSL Processor. |
Windows opens a DOS window for each processor installed on this machine. XSL process information scrolls on each window.

If you want to, minimize the DOS window, but do not close it. |
To start the XSL processor as a service
|

Choose Start, Settings, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services. |
|

|
Right-click the HzXSL service. |
The Status column changes to “Started”.
