You can specify whether you want a sort option to sort results in ascending or descending order.
To set up ascending or descending sort order
1 | Open your Information Portal Administration tool web site. |
2 | Click the Customize tab. |
3 | Click the Searching sub-tab. |
4 | Click the Sorts option. |
5 | Access the sort option for which you want to set up the sort order. |
The Administration tool displays the Sort Elements page:
6 | Do one of these options: |
To sort in ascending order |
To sort in descending order |
Make sure the Ascending box is marked. |
Make sure the Ascending box is not marked. |
7 | Click OK. |
The Administration tool displays the Sorts page again.
8 | When you finish making changes in Information Portal, restart the Application Server process (JBoss). |
